To track your child’s school bus as schools in the UAE prepare to welcome students back, a powerful tool is here to ease parental concerns – the ‘DTC School Bus’ mobile application, developed by Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC), a subsidiary of Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). This innovative app allows parents to track their child’s school bus journey in real-time, providing live updates and alerts to ensure a smooth and secure commute. Here’s all you need to know:

Is Your Child’s School Onboard?

The app displays your child’s school bus progress only if the school’s transport provider is integrated with DTC. Already servicing around 800 routes, DTC has integrated 58 government schools into the app. To check if your child’s school is part of the system, contact the school administration or select the school from the list available on the app.

Step 1: Download and Register

1. Download the app from Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
2. Choose ‘Create an account’ and provide necessary details like full name, email, and mobile number.
3. Enter the One-Time Password (OTP) received via SMS for verification.
4. Provide your Emirates ID details and upload a copy.
5. Create a password and agree to terms.
6. Tap ‘Register.’

Step 2: Enter Child’s Information

1. Add your child’s personal details, Emirates ID, and photo.
2. Enter school information including name, session, grade, class section, and student ID.
3. Provide residence details, including address and pick-up/drop-off point on the map.
4. Enter transport information, like trip details and direction.
5. Tap ‘Submit.’

Payment:

• If bus transportation fee is paid through the school, no additional payment is required on the app.
• If unpaid, settle the fee online using credit or debit card.
