Ensuring School Bus Safety
Under the theme “Enhancing the student’s transportation safety for the academic year 2023-2024,” the ADQCC organized specialized workshops for school bus supervisors and drivers. The workshops aimed to equip them with essential skills, knowledge, and protocols to ensure students’ safety during transportation.
Workshop topics included safe driving techniques, emergency procedures, periodic bus inspections, and adherence to health protocols.
This initiative is part of ADQCC’s ongoing efforts to enhance school transportation safety, in partnership with the Integrated Transportation Centre and the Department for Education and Knowledge.
Since the inception of the personnel conformity service, ADQCC has issued 23,958 conformity certificates for school bus drivers and 27,419 for school bus supervisors.
Elevating Food Safety Standards
ADQCC’s Central Testing Laboratory sector conducted training workshops for over 40 food suppliers serving educational institutions in Abu Dhabi. These workshops covered lectures on food quality and safety, allowing suppliers to stay updated on the latest standards.
The initiative aligns with ADQCC’s commitment to enhancing food safety and quality. The council has also updated the
