Applicants can select from two kiosk size options (4x4m, 8x4m) or even opt for a mobile food truck, offering flexibility in presenting their culinary creations.
The Expo management has provided a comprehensive set of guidelines to ensure a seamless experience for both exhibitors and visitors:
Hygiene and Safety Standards:
Adherence to local hygiene, municipality, and Ministry of Public Health regulations will be mandatory. Stringent food safety, storage, and preparation guidelines will be in place.
Eco-Friendly Approach:
In a bid to promote sustainability, the use of plastic containers is prohibited. Eco-friendly packaging materials will be required.
Waste Management:
An eco-conscious approach continues with designated bins for food waste, contributing to recycling and composting efforts.
Operating Hours and Lease:
Operators will be required to comply with Expo working hours, and any prolonged closure exceeding 5 consecutive days may result in the termination of the agreement.
Exclusivity and Delivery:
Only designated drivers and riders from the exclusive delivery partner of Expo will be permitted on-site. Operators must be listed on the partner’s platform.
Menu and Pricing:
The Expo management company will review and approve menus. Pricing, too, will undergo scrutiny to ensure reasonability and alignment with Expo standards.
The application process is non-binding and does not guarantee participation. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted by Expo 2023 Doha’s commercial team. Submission of images showcasing the food, menu, eatery’s exterior and interior, along with copies of the Certificate of Registration (CR) and Trading License, are part of the application requirements.
Expo 2023 Doha is poised to become a global showcase of culinary delights, blending cultures and flavors in a celebration of gastronomic excellence. As the countdown to the expo continues, F&B enthusiasts and entrepreneurs have a unique opportunity to be part of this flavorful journey.
