Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced 3 Dubai Metro stations to resume ahead. Onpassive, Equiti, and Mashreq stations will resume services on May 19, 2024, ahead of the previously announced schedule. The Energy Metro Station is also set to return to service next week.

The RTA confirmed that all necessary maintenance and testing have been completed to ensure the stations’ operational readiness and compliance with safety requirements.

These stations were closed following heavy rains in mid-April, which brought the UAE’s heaviest rainfall in 75 years. Initially, the RTA had planned to restore normal operations by May 28.
To ensure the highest standards and efficiency, the RTA conducted extensive operational tests. These included checking platform doors, lifts, escalators, and other facilities. Additionally, vital indicators of train power were tested to ensure smooth movement and accurate journey times between stations.

The RTA will continue providing metro feeder bus services to the metro stations, aligning with the metro’s operating hours. This is to facilitate passenger travel and ensure the integration of various mobility modes across Dubai.
