The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has vehemently condemned the burning of a copy of the holy Quran by extremists in the Kingdom of Denmark. In response to the disturbing act, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs has called on the Danish government to take responsibility and promptly stop such heinous actions.
The Ministry emphasised the importance of closely monitoring hate speech that negatively impacts peace and security. It strongly expressed its rejection of using freedom of expression as justification for perpetrating such sacrilegious acts.
