Fashion Trust Arabia (FTA), a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and nurturing design talent across the MENA region has proudly announced the finalists for 2024 Awards. This year, 18 designers from the Middle East and North Africa, along with four from Spain, have made it to the final stage, showcasing the region’s most promising emerging talent.
Fashion Trust Arabia Unveils Finalists
Selected by the esteemed FTA 2024 Advisory Board, which includes industry icons like Adam Baidawi, Ana Khouri, Erdem Moralıoğlu, and Nina Garcia, the finalists represent the pinnacle of creativity and innovation in fashion. These designers are vying for one of six prestigious FTA Awards, which cover categories such as Ready-to-Wear, Evening Wear, Jewelry, Accessories, Franca Sozzani Debut Talent, and Fashion Tech. Additionally, this year’s Guest Country Award will feature four exceptional designers from Spain.

FTA Grant and Mentorship For Winners
The finalists will present their collections to the FTA Jury in Marrakech on October 24th, 2024. The winners, who will be announced during a glamorous ceremony that evening, stand to receive significant financial support, with grants ranging from $50,000 to $200,000 depending on the category. Additionally, winners will benefit from unparalleled exposure through partnerships with global retailers like Harrods and mentorship opportunities with The Bicester Collection, Brand x Society, and the British Fashion Council.
Internship Opportunity with Huntsman in London
One of the most anticipated awards, the Ready-to-Wear category winner, will also gain an internship opportunity with Huntsman in London, where they will create a capsule collection to be sold on the retailer’s e-commerce platform.
Guest Country Spain
The inclusion of Spain as a guest country underscores FTA’s commitment to fostering global connections within the fashion industry. Spanish finalists will undergo the same rigorous judging process as their MENA counterparts, competing for the Guest Country Award, which further amplifies FTA’s mission to support young designers on a global scale.
Fashion Trust Arabia continues to set the standard for discovering and nurturing the next generation of fashion designers in the MENA region.
